First Week of August 2025 Break
Heads up that I’m taking a blog break this first week of August.
My kids start school in about three weeks, which is wild to me. I swear I just gave birth to them, and now one of them is heading off to college and the other will be a sophomore in high school. It doesn’t seem like it has been that long, but the additional grey hairs on my head suggest otherwise. Rude, those grey hairs.
Anyway, if you’d like a little something to read this week while I’m away, check out one of these blog posts. You can also follow along on Instagram to see what we’re up to!
Halloween Planters
I know it’s early! Don’t forget to order your black duct tape so that you can dress up your planters for Halloween. Read how to make these decals here. You only need duct tape and parchment paper.
Wood Leaf Wreath
September will be here before you know it, so you may also want to order these thick wood leaves to start crafting with during August.
I used them last year to make a wreath. It was one of the easiest things I’ve ever made.
UNIQUE FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS
If your vases aren’t cutting it any longer, try looking at any vessel in your home as a holder for flower arrangements, especially boxes, crates, and caddies.
Read about this one here.
HAINT BLUE
Last but not least, it’s not too late to paint your porch ceiling haint blue. I can’t believe the difference it made on our plywood porch ceiling.
I hope you have a fantastic week.
Be good to yourself and others this week.
Happy Summer!
